Itinerary description
This trail goes along the north part of the Azuaje Ravine (Barranco de Azuaje, in Spanish) from Moya to San Felipe, at the north coast of Gran Canaria.
The Azuaje Ravine has water running through all year round. It's deepest ravine in the north of Gran Canaria. The presence of the running water all year round, and the sheer walls that limit natural light, produce an abundance of unique plant and tree life.
You can take a bus to Moya and take a nice brunch there before starting. If the weather is nice, you can swim at the end of the trail. There are a lot of buses from San Felipe to Las Palmas.
Though we did this trail in summer, I'd recommend doing in winter or spring, after the rains. Everything will be greener and nicer.
Please be respectful with the enviroment and enjoy it as much as we did! If you like this trail, share your experience in this page.
