Itinerary description
Not long linear trail to pump up one’s body and to witness great views over Olympus from one side and a dam from the other.
We made this trail circular by returning along asphalt car road.
The beginning of this trail used to be common with another one - Gefiria - but recently the starting points have been separated, however you can still see the old sign to Gefiria on the trail.
TERRAIN: forest path, sometimes rocky, a bit of forest car roads. Ascent to the top, sometimes rather steep, then descent, sometimes steep as well.
SIGNS: no any signs except for the one which shows direction to other trails. However the trail is definable almost every time. A few resting places.
SEASON: the whole trail is partially shady, so potentially walkable all year round.
KIDS: elevation may be hard to manage by very small kids, min 6-7 yo should be Ok
Parking is limited at the start to 2-3 cars.
