Itinerary description
This trail is unofficial and one of the few very close to Limassol. No long rides are needed for limassolians to admire fantastic panoramic views over whole Limassol and Germasogeia dam from a birds sight.
TERRAIN: combination of dirt (white clay, limestone and gravel) car roads and wild paths. Constant ascent to the top (with one steep but short climb), then descent. After the car track ends you find yourself in somewhat wild surroundings, thus navigating via app will help you. At certain point you may notice a barely seen path mostly identified by flattened grass, so you better stick to it but still don't forget about the app. The descent is easier to navigate going along car tracks. At the very end you have to cross a small gorge where path is again hard to find.
SEASON: no shade at all. Car roads of clay and limestone are easily eroded by water (especially those in the 1st half of the trail), thus avoid going after heavy rains.
The area is popular with hunters, so be vigilant during the hunting season, wear smth bright.
SIGNS: no signs and resting places
KIDS: Ok for kids of any age if they manage the ascent. Keep them off the cliff edges at the top.
