Itinerary description
Η πορεία ξεκινά δίπλα από τη γέφυρα στο χωριό Μουρτζανά. Τα πρώτα 2,8 χιλιόμετρα είναι σε κακοτράχαλο χωματόδρομο, σε ορισμένα σημεία με άσφαλτο, αλλά κακής ποιότητας. Στη συνέχεια κινούμαστε στο ρέμα, ενώ η διαδρομή εχει γίνει αρκετά ανηφορική. Το έδαφος είναι πέτρες. Το μονοπάτι έχει πολύ καλή σηματοδότηση μέχρι που πλησιάζουμε τη κορυφή. Από εκεί και πέρα είναι εύκολος προσανατολισμός, καθώς κινούμαστε προς την κορυφή.
Mε ένα μικρό δεκάλεπτο διάλειμμα, φτάσαμε σε 2 ώρες και 35 λεπτά στη κορυφή με την υπέροχη θέα. Έχει μία στέρνα δίπλα στο εκκλησάκι του Τιμίου Σταυρού. Κατηφορίζοντας, περάσαμε στην απέναντι ράχη, στο σημείο που σχηματίζεται το τρίγωνο της διαδρομής, προκειμένου να έχουμε θέα του Μπαλί.
The path begins next to the bridge in Mourtzana villaga. The first 2,8 km are in bad road in some points with soil in other with bad quality asphalt. Then we are following the gully, while our rocky path has become quite uphill. The signs are very helpful until we are approaching the summit. After that, the orientation is easy as we are moving towards visible summit.
With a ten minutes break, we arrived at the summit with the breathtaking views in approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes. There is a small tank next to the chappel of Holy Cross. When we were going back, we passed to the opposite ridge, in the point that a triangle is formulated in the map, and we enjoyed beautifl view of Balli.
