Itinerary description
One can see the almost perfect cone of the mountain at the back of Pylos from a distance. I have always been curious to go up and see the town, the island fo Sfaktiria and the Voidokilia bay from the top. A dusty and steep dirt road winds up towards the wind turbines, but when you get to the top you are totally frustrated by a fence that prevents you from reaching the northern tip of the top from where you can have a view of Pylos.
