Itinerary description
Arjuno-Welirang is a stratovolcano in the province of East Java on Java, Indonesia. It is a twin volcano, with the 'twins' being Arjuno and Welirang. There is at least one other stratovolcano in the area, and there are around 10 pyroclastic cones nearby.[2] They are located in a 6 km line between Arjuno and Welirang. The Arjuno-Welirang volcanic complex itself lies in the older two volcanoes, Mount Ringgit to the east and Mount Linting to the south. The summit lacks vegetation. Fumarolic areas with sulfur deposits are found in several locations on Welirang.[1]

Hi Pey,
I am planning to go to Arjuno soon and i have one doubt, re there any water sources on the way or near the camp areas?
Thanks.
water resource available in near camp areas, pondokan is the last camp area before you got the summit.
We want to go up end of June and camp for 2 nights. I looked at your track, did you go up all the way to the top in half a day, starting at midnight? Incredible, you must be fit!!! Someone told me there is a paved road to Pondokan now... We want to hike and take porters, you have any contacts of porters? Thanks for uploading!!!
the route has been edited, yes from start to pondokan paved road. iam sorry I dont have any contact of porters.
Thanks for your information. So the track is now paved. Not so much fun for walking any more, what do you think? Maybe we should hire a car and camp on top before we summit the next day. Can a normal car go up or you need 4WD? https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/mountain-arjuna-via-tretes-1778371/photo-628628
