Itinerary description
Mount Warning return trail. We got to the carpark early evening and slept in the car until 3am, then got up, prepared and started the climb. Track is well maintained with steps and gravel for the first part then as it ascends it moves into larger rocks which in parts have been used as pavers. When you get close to the top the last section has a chain to assist in the climb up and down and most people use this. When we got to the top at 5:50 it was packed and as we waited to see if the fog would lift (which it didn't) as the sun rose it grew more packed.
Very popular walk with some people even running it several times in a row while were ascending and descending.
Great walk and recommended either to see the sunrise (hopefully) or as a day trek

This trail is great, a group of us did it at night to get the sunrise - this is a must! There is a steep climb at the end (maybe 100m?) which has chains/rails in the rock to assist, we all did it with no issue in the dark. The view of the coast and the sunrise is pretty amazing, bring your camera!!

Great for a sunrise hike and beautiful views at the top. Can be a bit cold in the morning so bring a jumper
