Mount Rinjani

Mount Rinjani (Indonesian: Gunung Rinjani) is an active volcano in Indonesia on the island of Lombok. Administratively the mountain is in the Regency of North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (Indonesian: Nusa Tenggara Barat, NTB). It rises to 3,726 metres (12,224 ft), making it the second highest volcano in Indonesia.[2] It is also the highest point in the Indonesian province of West Nusa Tenggara.

✴️ Weather is very cold at Perlawangan Sembalun Campsite at night and extremely cold during summit attack

✴️ Best time to visit Mt.Rinjani - April to November. Closed from December to February due to raining

Initerary:
🔹Day 01: Tuesday, 13 September 2022🔹
From KLIA2 to Lombok Airport by Air Asia.
▪️After reaching airport, transferred by private van to Bukit Selong.
▫️Check in hotel. Dinner/ free & easy

🔹Day 02: Wednesday, 14 September 2022🔹
After breakfast, transfer by 4WD to Taman Nasional Park Office. Registered and do a simple medical check up.
▪️Then proceed to Sembalun trail head
▫️From here trek for 9KM (7 hours) to Base Camp
▪️Lunch at Pos 2, mini kiosk available for selling drink and snacks
▫️Dinner & overnight at Perlawangan Sembalun Kem 1.
▪️From Pos 1 to Pos 5 weather is very hot I hike with umbrealla
▫️Weather is superb cold at night. Can't sleep 😭

🔹Day 03: Friday, 15 September 2022🔹
Wake up at 1am, breakfast and prepare for summit attack.
▪️After briefing, start our hiking at 0153 hrs
▫️Reached Gunung Rinjani summit at 0615 after 4H22M hike. Stunning scenery looking over segara anak lake and beautiful sunrise
▪️Trek down the same route back to Camp 1. Reached at 0900 hrs
▫️Packing / lunch
▪️Trek down to Danau Lake. Beautiful trek and enjoying the view.
▫️Reached Danau Lake Campsite at 1430 hrs. Beautiful lake but too dirty.
▪️Walk for 10 minutes from here to Hot Spring and wash out.
▫️ Dinner and sleep.

🔹Day 04: Friday, 16 September 2022🔹
Wake up at 0600 hrs, breakfast and prepare for our hike.
▪️Today will be a long hike from here trek back to Torean trail head
▫️Last day of hiking and is the most enjoyable day. Beautiful scenery along the trail surrounded with mountains
▪️Reached Torean trail head at 1630 hrs. First to reach and wait for other members to arrive.
▫️Transferred by private van to restaurant at Senggigi for late dinner. After that proceed to check in at Puri Saron Hotel Sengigi. Beautiful and nice hotel.

🔹Day 05: Saturday, 17 September 2022🔹
Last day of the trip and will be a goodbye to everyone and flight back to destination city
▪️Wake up at 0500 hrs, breakfast then check out and rushing to airport.
▫️Took our flight at 1000 hrs from Lombok to KLIA 2.
