Itinerary description

For 7 days we made the trek from Mount Kenya from Chogoria to Naro Moru up the 4,985 m Lenana Point. As part of Cumbres a Ciegas, the blind Paralympic champion Gerard Descarrega climbed Punta Nelion, 5,188 m with Oscar Cadiach, Fèlix Berg and his friend and cameraman Xisco López. The trip, led by Oscar Cadiach, was done with an itinerant camp with the support of local guides and porters, organized by SummitClimb (Fèlix Berg). In the first stage we walked to the Chogoria Gate, 2,950 m, in a jungle environment and wildlife like baboons and hyenas.
