Itinerary description
Our trip up the south side of Etna Volcano, 2011-Aug-02. A combination of hiking, bus and ski lift. The main crater had erupted a few weeks previously so we were not allowed to get too close. But we were able to walk around a previously active vent which was smoking and had lots of volcanic debris.
