Itinerary description
One of the lesser known mountains in the Sunshine Coast area, a 5km return trail is a lot of fun to climb and has some pretty steep, slippery dirt paths to follow. Rope has been tied to trees in several places to make it easier to negotiate the steepest sections. There are two summits, most hikers stop on the western summit area (shortens the hike to around 3km) but you only get minimal views north through the trees.
If you want a much better view, you can walk another 800m along the ridge to the eastern summit, where the views across to the coast are stunning.
