Itinerary description

Starting Doongalla Homestead head down along the road thrn turn up Dodds Track which is very steep, thrn cross over into Range Trek which is a pretty climb up to Olinda. Continue along streets to Mt Dandenong Botanical Garden (free entrance, cafe and toilets) and stroll around and enjoy the spectacular gardens. We wiggled under a locked gate and continued down Falls Road. The walk along Cascade Track is beautiful with giant ferns, a creek and tall Mountain Ash Trees. We stopped at Olinda Falls lunch before walking up Falls Road and turning left along a gravel road until we found Mechanics Track. Cross over Ridge Road and work your way up the track and through the grassy field. From here cross over another road and walk up into Sky High and enjoy the views of the Melbourne Skyline. We Bush bashed a little until we reach Kyeema Track to Bourkes Lookout, down the Zig Zag and Channel 10 Tracks and back to Doongalla Homestead.
It is a very hilly walk with a few roads to walk along bit overall it was great.
I may not have 'finished' the walk at Doongalla .
