The first 4 km is a charm, dirt trail (even sandy in places), some sections of avoidable mud, pretty rivers and relatively flat.
The next section is completely different, it will be a long climb of around 5 km on a rocky background in the forest, without any attraction apart from a micro point of view on the pretty presidentials. The climb can seem long and monotonous, but the return is easy, no technique.
Once past the tree line, the views are spectacular. The intersection of the mountains forming the valleys is magnificent. A tower at the top provides a 360-degree view.
