Itinerary description
Tried out the short extension to a dry creek bed, but wouldn’t bother doing this again.
We did the circuit clockwise and found there was a sign saying it was closed as using firearms in the area for pest control, but came across another walker that told us this was a month or more ago.
It was very steep and slippery before reaching the top...and this is why I rated it difficult...this is the only section that was difficult though. We unfortunately got caught in a downpour of rain when near the top, so hung out at the rock cave for about 30mins until it passed. The main track back down, was very pleasant and I would rate pretty easy.

The property owner of Little Bally Mountain has closed this off due to fences being cut, intrusion onto the private property due to not having accurate mapping, and no respect for being on the property. The Gold Coast has one and only one trail to Bally Mountain to be used. Gavin Dale Secretary Bushwalking Qld Inc.
