Itinerary description
We did it on a full day trip. Climb started at 6h at ended at 10:45, with a 40 minutes pause at Camp 1. Good weather in December, sunny and dry. First part is on farmlands and through villages. Then rainforest, quite steep but undercover, protected from sun. Last 1/3rd is on what they call “boulders”, a rocky part, with many sulphuric vents and quite steep. Of course not 89% as it’s said sometimes but pretty tough.
Descent is much harder as knees have suffered during morning climb!)))
CAREFUL: There is an error in the track, starting point is 1150m NOT 1250, be careful!!!
