Moro Rock Trail is a large granite formation with a spectacular geological feature that can be enjoyed from both the bottom and top.
Once we enter the Sequoia National Park, from Three Rivers, we will soon find a large rock (Tunnel Rock) and from where on its right, we will see the Moro Rock. We will continue up the road until we find a magnificent viewpoint from which to observe this peak again, is the Amphitheater Point Overlook. From this point we will look for the Giant Forest Sequoia Grove, where we will find parking spaces a short distance from the start of the trail.
It is a path formed by a concrete staircase, with about 350 steps to the top of Moro Rock, equipped with handrails almost all the way that make the climb relatively safe, although care must be taken. Although it is not difficult, you need to be prepared to overcome a drop of about 100 meters at a distance of about 350, so it is a steep climb with small stretches or corners to rest or at least stop -se, although the trail is very busy.
