Itinerary description
This is a hike around the area where we were staying. Mostly on roads, some portions we fell off the intended trail. It was more to scout out the area and get a better feel for the terrain. There were several places to eat/drink along the way. The second river crossing (marked as a waypoint with photo) may not be passable year round.
If you are driving there are not many places to park, maybe use a restaurant as the start finish? Oddly both my hands and my wife's hands got sore (swollen, hard to make a fist). Not very painful and did not last long after the hike... never had this before, please post if you have ever had this... maybe the heat??

Rio Cacao
No bridge but this was easy to cross in the dry season, just hopped across a few stones. Not sure what it would be like other times of the year.
