Start at Moongate then in about 200m take the first right onto the Wildboar Trail. Continue ascent and keep to the right onto the Bukit Cendana Trail (Bukit=hill). When reaching the Poh Yau Mak Junction, take a left turn and the trail descends down a ravine. Cross the rope bridge across stream then ascend to Moongate Rest Station 5 just past junction to a second trail to Bukit Cendana. The Moongate Trail continues on from the south side of the rest stop and continue ascent until reaching the stone marker for Trail 39. Turn left and then immediately another left and follow the trail down to Youth Park. There are numerous junctions on the way down.
