Itinerary description

Castellano (English below):

English:
We started from Montreux - Les Planches station. The only reason was that there is a parking and there was space. Ayway you can get to Montreux easily by train or park it in any other parking (www.sbb.ch).
rom there the path is very clearly marked. Just after starting there is a fork, to Telegraph trail or Gorges du Chauderon. The second one (is the one we did) will take you al time close to the river and you will see the gorge from below and the first one takes you to the upper side, so you will miss the river most of the time.

The path has lots of stairs, places with shadows as you are going through the forest, pther places very easy to walk, few accesses to the river where you can drink, refresh or even go inside (it's coooold), some times it's very wide,... so, you won't hve time to get bored. The last part it's probably the most difficult as the path becomes quite steep. The total time to go up is a bit more than 1.30.

The way to go back is similar (actually if it's the right season it's very recommendable to walk the path of the daffodil (sentier des narcises) as you will find them everywhere and in flower). There is a bit that we had to walk a road. There are no so many cars, almost none, but you need to be extra careful. To get down it was a bit more than an hour.

In the way we saw few families as it's an easy trail to hike. Also, there is the chance as well to go by train to Les Avants tran station and then walk down.
*There is a funicular in Les Avants that takes you to Sonloup from where you will have very nice views (http://www.goldenpass.ch/fr/goldenpass/offer/view?id=8).
