Itinerary description
In Montpezat - sous Bauzon in the centre, park on a large parking close to the church.
Walk left of the church, the road turns left towards the main road.
Take the main road (D536) North/West.
At the sign Chalias, turn right.
Just before the last houses of Chalias haut, take the bridge to the right.
Follow the path uphill, at the next crossing take the right fork, uphill.
When things open up and you get a nice view of Montpezat, turn left uphill on the next crossing after about 100 meter.
This leads uphill along a stone house/barn.
Follow the trail signed Montpezat
Follow the yellow/white markers or signs Montpezat.
In Les Plantades under an arch, at the spring, turn right on the asphalt and hike downhill.
In the curve take the right forest road, following white/yellow.
Warning the right turn is a more narrow trail.
At a small church there is a map of the area.
Hike back along the cemetary and left along the church and over the bridge.
Turn right, on a small road that is closed during certain school times.
