Itinerary description
Deze wandeling begint in Montes Novos een klein plaatsje met een leuk lokaal restaurant. Tijdens deze wandeling moet je redelijk veel klimmen in dalen op meestal onverharde wandel paden. Ik heb deze wandeling gedaan in het voor en najaar en het was beide keren mooi. Maar in het voorjaar met de bloemen natuurlijk op z’n mooist. In de zomer is het hier te warm.. Het is zeker een aanrader om in de Cooperativa - Centro Cultural Montes Novos te gaan eten. Echt Portugees, lokaal en super goedkoop..
This walk starts in Montes Novos, a small town with a nice local restaurant. Quite a lot of climbing on mostly hiking trails. I did this hike in the spring and autumn and it was beautiful both times. But of course in the spring with the flowers is the best. I think in the summer it is too hot here. It is definitely recommended to eat in the Cooperativa - Centro Cultural Montes Novos. Truly Portuguese local and cheap.
