Itinerary description

Park at the very large parking of Montecreto. Head towards the lift and just behind it you'll find the starting route, near a little church.

Continue straight on, you'll eventually reach the arrival point of the lift, where you can stop in a small picnic zone. During the journey you'll find some signboard with info about local landmarks.

When on top, continue the journey following labels for "Pino Solitario", as of Dec 2023 it's the "green route". The Pino is a tree with an amazing viewpoint of Montecreto, again with a picnic area. Continue the descending route till you reach the car again. warn: the last few hundreds meter of the GPS track takes a route that is NOT an easy hike. As soon as you'll see homes, go towards them an do NOT follow the GPS track.
