Itinerary description
Here is one path to go to Monte Veneratta (885m), the mountain over Taormina.
I left my hotel in Giardini, went through Taormina and had lunch at Castelmola.
I final ended in Mazzaro near Isola Bella and headed back by bus.
From the last door of Taormina, it takes 40 min to go Castelmola. And from Castelmola it takes nearly one hour to reach the top.
Nothing complicated except if it’s really warm. After Castelmola, the path is quite obvious as you can see the target very clearly.
I had a nice time doing it.
