Pleasant "out of town" excursion starting from the locality Izvir Hublja (250 m), located not far from the town of Ajdovscina (Slovenia). Following the marked path we reached up to 700 m. above sea level, from where, after visiting a small natural window, we climbed a steep slope in sight until we crossed another larger natural window in the rock (the Okno). Having climbed further, aided by numerous wooden steps, we reached a flat area (refreshment area with table and bench), from where, continuing across and following a steep slope, we reached a cymotto called Navrse from which we can enjoy a splendid view of the peaks. and the surrounding woods as well as up to the Gulf of Trieste. Due to the very strong wind we encountered on the summit plateau, we preferred not to continue forward to the top of Sinji Vrh and instead follow another path downhill towards the town of Ajdovscina. Arrived at 450 m. altitude we took a track on the right, which was evident at first, but which then got lost a bit in the vegetation, and using the GPS track we managed to reach the lower path which took us back to the starting point, going down to the 'last steeply to finish the ring. Travel times: 4 hours (excluding stops); total height difference of 780 m; development km.8; difficulty E (EE for the Okno route).
