Itinerary description

This is a 4-day trek through Mount Kenya making the summit at Punta Lenana.
The first day you enter through the entrance of Chogoría, and after a while by road, you start the road. After about 3 km you reach the Bandas Lodge, where you spend the night.
The second day is all in ascent, and climbs from 3000 meters to 4200 to the Minto camp, where you spend the night (15 km)
The third day starts very early to reach the top at dawn (3:30 a.m.) After a climb up to 4985 m you reach the top. From there it goes down the McKinder valley to the Old Moses camp, where the night is spent (21.4 km)
On the last day, walk from the Old Moses camp to the SIrimon gate. It is a very beautiful walk of only descent. Along the way you can see animals.
I did this walk with the team of www.gotomountkenya.com. Excellent company and very responsible and organized.

Hola! excelente track y descripción. Después de tu experiencia, ¿qué recomendarías, subir por Sirimon o por Chogoria? tengo la duda de por qué entrada puede ser mejor hacerlo.

Ambos lados son muy bonitos. Por el lado de Sirimon había mucha más gente. Si puede, le recomendaría hacer la travesía completa (Chigoria-Sirimon o vice versa)
