Mooie route, maar een deel van de paden (vooral aan het einde) lijkt niet meer te bestaan.

The description of this route is highly inaccurate. The starting point is wrong - the crossed GR sign means ‘closed/do not use’. However we followed this on your advice and immediately regretted it. Scrambling up dangerous, gravel and rock filled paths on a 1 in 4 incline is not ‘moderate’. It is not suitable for children or anyone who is not very fit and experienced in very steep rocky mountain paths. We have mountain climbed for years but this was altogether a more strenuous and difficult experience. We spoke to a local man at the ruined chapel who said he had not found a route down to Camplong from the peak in 50 years so your own description of frankly ‘making it up’ is the only accurate part of the information provided. The only way off the mountain is either at Moux or the Gorges de Congoust. The views are spectacular.

Hello , I will do the route again this weekend (not done for a while) see just how bad it is… 50years! and a local… must know his stuff.

Route completed today, no issues, rocks and gravel like a lot of the Corbières.
Some points on your aggressive comments:
    * GR sign means closed/do not use.. incorrect.
    * Old man in ruins advice .. incorrect
    * Your way off mountain advice..incorrect
    * You’re experienced mountain climbers and found this strenuous and difficult.. ?
    * Never take children on an unknown route assent of 500m+ without doing it first, you are 100% responsible for their safety.
    * There are a couple of different routes leading down to Camplong from the peak I haven’t ´made up’ any of them .
Unfortunate your level of experience and fitness has made you go full Karen with the comments. All the best with other routes.
