Itinerary description
We hiked the Monroe Ridge Trail and then meandered thru the exhibits at the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park. The trail was hilly at first, but we were rewarded with lovely overlooks, some with picnic tables! The actual mileage for the loop is about 3.5 miles; our zig-zagging around the exhibits accounts for the rest.
