At the end of Air Batang we will find a path that climbs up through the jungle. The route has no loss, it is necessary to take advantage of the path that the electric cable traces. In a quarter of an hour we will arrive at Panuba a resort that is on a beach and where it is possible to stop to buy water or to eat. We continue a little further and in 5 minutes we will find two solitary beaches.
From here, there are half an hour of ascents and slopes surrounded by leafy vegetation. The height of some trees impresses and also the creeks and lianas invading the path. The route is not particularly harsh but the shamelessness makes us run out faster, in some places they have stitched to help advance, in others it is necessary to bend over as some branches hinder the step ...
We reach Monkey Beach a solitary beach where the monkeys have been made masters. Be aware of the belongings! They have a great liking to take advantage of any distraction to open zippers and backpacks and take what strikes them. We have been tied with strings, we have locked the zippers and we have avoided carrying anything of value.
This beach is beautiful, peaceful and has good funds with corals in good condition. It is highly advisable to wear glasses and tubes.
When we visited it there was a boatman who offered to bring and return people. We have stayed with him to pick us up at the end of the trip to Monkey Bay.
So it is interesting to continue for 20 minutes more in the jungle until you reach Monkey Bay, a clear sandy beach in the middle of a lovely bay. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and it seemed like a lovely place to relax and enjoy the last bath while waiting for our taxi driver to return to ABC beach. In this way we have been able to enjoy while returning from good views of the coast from the sea.
