sand dunes in Gobi south of Gurvan Saikhan mountains (Gobi Altai)
starting in Ger Camp and walk through steppe vegeation; crossing a small canyon. climbing up the dunes and hiking on ridges for a while. At the bottom of the dunes over pastures to a groundwater source. back to camp by car.
