Monda: Cueva Santa - Cruz de los Altos de Canucha

Desde el aparcamiento, el sendero va cuesta arriba, un corto tramo por asfalto y luego por un camino de tierra más ancho con magníficas vistas de varias sierras, desde Sierra Prieta hasta El Torrecilla.
Al cabo de un rato llegas a una barrera por la que no pueden pasar los coches, pero sí los excursionistas a través de una puerta lateral.
Un poco más arriba está la Fuente La Palma, una fuente con agua fresca que fluye hacia una pila.
Aún más arriba en la montaña, hay una señal de madera a la izquierda que desgraciadamente ya no es legible, pero que indica el camino a la Cueva Santa.
Puedes llegar a ella siguiendo un hermoso sendero estrecho.
Frente al camino que lleva a la Cueva Santa, se sube a la Cruz de los Altos de Canucha. En esta zona no hay sendero, pero hay muchos caminos y losas de piedra que conducen a la cruz. En la cima, serás recompensado con una vista de un desfiladero con impresionantes paredes rocosas y dos canteras.
Desde la cruz, continúa por la cresta hasta llegar de nuevo al sendero que lleva al cruce donde la señal indica el camino a la cueva.
Desde aquí volvemos al coche por el mismo camino que hemos utilizado para la subida.

From the parking lot, the trail goes uphill, a short stretch on asphalt and then on a wider dirt road with magnificent views of various mountain ranges from Sierra Prieta to Torrecilla.
After a while you reach a barrier through which cars cannot pass, but hikers can through a side gate.
A bit further uphill is the Fuente La Palma, a fountain with fresh water flowing into a basin.
Still further up the mountain, there is a wooden sign on the left that is unfortunately no longer legible, but indicates the way to the Cueva Santa (Sacred Cave).
You can get to it by following a beautiful narrow path.
Opposite the path that leads to the Cueva Santa, you climb up to the Cruz de los Altos de Canucha. In this area there is no trail, but there are many paths and stone slabs that lead to the cross. At the top, you will be rewarded with a view of a gorge with impressive rock walls and two quarries.
From the cross, continue along the ridge until you reach the path again that leads to the crossroads where the sign shows the way to the cave.
From here we return to the car along the same path that we used for the ascent.

Vom Parkplatz aus geht es bergauf, ein kurzes Stück auf Asphalt und dann auf einem breiteren Feldweg mit herrlichen Aussichten auf verschiedene Gebirgszüge von Sierra Prieta bis zum Torrecilla.
Nach einer Weile erreichst du eine Absperrung, die Autos nicht passieren können, aber Wanderer können durch ein Seitentor hindurch.
Ein Stück weiter bergauf befindet sich die Fuente La Palma, ein Brunnen mit frischem Wasser, das in ein Becken fließt.
Noch weiter oben auf dem Berg befindet sich links ein Holzschild, das leider nicht mehr lesbar ist, aber den Weg zur Cueva Santa (Heilige Höhle) anzeigt.
Du erreichst sie, indem du einem schönen schmalen Pfad folgst.
Gegenüber dem Weg, der zur Cueva Santa führt, steigst du zum Cruz de los Altos de Canucha auf. In diesem Gebiet gibt es keinen Weg, aber es gibt viele Pfade und Steinplatten, die zum Kreuz führen. Oben angekommen, wirst du mit einem Blick auf eine Schlucht mit beeindruckenden Felswänden und zwei Steinbrüchen belohnt.
Vom Kreuz aus gehst du weiter den Grat entlang, bis du wieder auf den Pfad triffst, der zu einer Kreuzung führt, an der ein Schild den Weg zur Höhle weist.
Von hier aus geht es auf demselben Weg, den wir für den Aufstieg benutzt haben, zurück zum Auto.
