Moncucco : le sommet le plus accessible de l'Ossola - par la variante sauvage.
Attention, cette randonnée est très technique, la piste est souvent à flanc de montagne. les sentiers sont peu empruntés voire invisibles et les marques sont parfois difficiles à discerner, d’où l'importance du GPS.
Si la distance n'est pas un problème, ça grimpe beaucoup, il est nécessaire d'être en forme et bien équipé (des bâtons seront fort utiles).
Mais arrivés en haut, c'est grandiose ! Dépaysement et plein de nature garanti !
