A pleasant looped hike in the hills to the north west of Monchique along quiet roads and tracks with some panoramic views, the highlights of this hike is the Convent de Nossa ruins, the Water Mill and of course Monchique itself

Verry steep on the first hour, after that nice to walk. Follow the red and yellow stripes on the side of the road.

Lovely walk and marked out well, really good sightseeing and miradoras. The monastery is intresting and the old water mill is a nice spot for lunch.
