Itinerary description

Large parking place at the visitor's centre of the Monastery de la Grande Chartreuse, Musée de la Correrie. 4 km from St. Pierre de Chartreuse. Around the monastery is a silence area. Well indicated tour and broad, easy accessible path. Agreeable walk.
On our way back we took a path into the forest that wasn't going anywhere, so we had to return on our steps.
No food and drinks. The visitor's centre offers info in French only. Possibility to buy products from the monastery like nuts wine and herbal liquor.
