Gengið er frá heimavist FNV upp með fram Sauðá í gegnum lítinn skóg, áfram eftir vegslóða og upp hnjúkinn að suðaustan. Leiðin upp hnjúkin er heldur brött og undirlendið laust. Á bakaleiðinni er farið niður að Molduxaskarði, þar yfir prílu og svo niður Skógarhlíð.

The starting point is the FNV boarding school in Sauðárkrókur. A path leads along Sauðá river and through a small forest, you then follow and old road to the top of Molduxi mountain. The top is steep and the subsoil is loose. On the way back you head to Molduxaskarð pass, over a fence ladder and follow the path down Skógarhlíð hill.

Der Startpunkt dieses Wanderweges ist der Parkplatz des FNV Internates in Sauðárkrókur. Der Weg führt entlang des Flusses Sauðá, durch einen kleinen Wald und weiter über alte Wege und Schafspuren bis zum Gipfel des Berges Molduxi. Der Untergrund auf dem Gipfel besteht aus losen Steinen. Vom Gipfel hat man eine großartige Aussicht auf Sauðárkrókur und Skagafjörður. Auf dem Rückweg nimmt man den Weg über Molduxaskarð, steigt über ein Zaundreieck und folgt dem Pfad zurück über den Hügel Skógarhlíð. Der Weg endet wieder am Parkplatz. Freilaufende Schafe oder Pferde sind zu beachten.

They are both similar in condition and difficulty. This track follows the left path on the way up and returns from the right path.
