Itinerary description

This hike (or bike) will take you north out of the parking lot and then west to what is actually "Moccasin Island" on Lake Winder. On the island you should see some remnants of the early settlers in the area. You will also see some sour orange trees - the Spanish I am told liked sour oranges. Depending on the water and grass levels in the area, you can do much exploring. There are some survey "benchmarks" which date way back there. Please, "take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints". Happy trails....
