Itinerary description
An easy trail... rated moderate due to a 200 foot elevation change up and then down (the western one is stairs, the eastern one is just trail). Beautiful views of the Meramec River as seen from bluffs a couple hundred feet over the river, mildly marred by a train track just below the bluffs. That aside, it's a beautiful trail, very well maintained, with benches all along the route to rest and enjoy the scenery on. There are also a couple decks along the bluffs, to give you an even better view, safe for children that you keep an eye on.
Note that there's parking a few yards north of the official trail entrance, which is the northernmost waypoint on this map.
