Please note: After the 185 km, the 500 km athletes will be led straight to the checkpoint which may not be right at the finish line. After visiting the checkpoint they go on loop #2 which is approx. 315 km long and comes back to Överkalix to make it a total distance of 500 km.

CP5 Lansjärv
We have crew here and there is a hot drink and meal available upon arrival. Sleeping is inside and it's a great place to dry gear. Batteries can be re-charged and there are showers.

CP6 Leipojärvi
In Leipojärvi we are guests of the local snowmobile club. The CP is at the club house where a great meal and hot drinks are waiting. Sleeping is in a separate building not far away. It's possible to dry gear and re-charge batteries. Taking a shower is possible, too.

CP7 Nattavaara
The place we use is Nattavaara Hembygdsförening, a beautiful and historic building. There is plenty of space. Athletes get a hot meal and drinks. Sleeping is inside. It's possible to dry gear, have a shower and re-charge batteries.

CP8 Polar Circle Cabin
Assistance Point means minimum or no support here. No food or electricity. At the briefing we will communicate if we have some crew and water there or not. If there is no crew, it's basically a cabin with a stove.
