Itinerary description
The forgotten horse trail to Dagribangla. This path bypasses the Mirajani peak and although longer is much less steep than the Mirajani track. Its a rout less traveled and therefore much more pristine. The path is going to be restored as the main Dagribangla track. There is abundant water and nice camping grounds on this trail. Best for hardened adventurers. as its overgrown with thorny bushes and there is a lot of wildlife on the track, I saw a few Pit viper snakes on this trail. Take along a machete and long stick, wear thick trousers and jacket. make a lot of noise. watch out for the pit falls. if you want to do this trail take me along... the track is also featured in the book "hiking trails near Islamabad" 1992, by Asia society. 03038000441

Thanks for the very informative trails. How much time did this take to complete? Also, can one do it on horseback? I plan on taking my 6 year old with me.
it would take 4 hours as the path is overgrown. I know people who have done this track, though I have done different segments only. please don't take the children along as it's a bit too wild. anyhow it will snow soon and the path will be buried.. until late May.. but that's the best season as there is plenty of snow reducing the need for water.
