Itinerary description

The most famous and gorgeous hiking in Santo Antao. You need to get a taxi or collectivo until the Mirador (Cova). Then you start the trail down the hill. After the start when you walk along the plantations, you have a quite steep path downhill.
Note: the entire trail is downhill, but the first half is significantly steeper than the second half so you will likely go slower, the second half is flatter and also paved.
In the middle of the trail you can make a stop at one of the bars/restaurants, we had a quick lunch at O Corral and it was good. in total we took around 6 hours until Vila das Pombas but this inckuded our kuncc and the 700 stops we made for taking pictures. the landscape is so amazing you will take a photo every 30 seconds so take that in consideration in your time estimation :)
