Itinerary description
the trails are rather apparent in winter, grass and twigs cut neatly.
there are four elevation gains in this journey, including happy forest, east slope, mini wutai and xiaohun slope. a great balance, though, mixing going up and down the hills.
smoke trees and maples are still available in mini wutai and xiaohun slope, sounds like by this week. at the same time, you can see yellow leaves in east hill village and botanical garden. they are also very beautiful.
be aware of the following to ensure your safety.
1. left roots of trees: watch out! they are not cut completely;
2. round twigs: they fell down on trails; avoid stepping on them;
3. fallen leaves: very slippy, esp. down the hill.

fragrant hills subway station- happy forest- white tower hills - nanmachang reservior- bei machang - cross ridge - east slope - north slope - east hill village - mini wutai - xxgg2 - xiaohun slope - botanical garden - fragrant hills subway station
