Itinerary description
I have been following a route through Ireland that could be part of the E2 European Long Distance Path, starting at Galway and ending at Belfast, created by linking together various National Trails. The route included 12.8 kilometres of the Miners Way in County Leitrim between the villages of Drumkeeran and Dowra. Consisting entirely of road walking on a quiet lanes, most of it in a straight line going up and down hills, through farming country.
