Itinerary description
I decided to not hike all of the way up to Sawtooth Peak because the slippery, narrow route from Sawtooth Pass to the peak looked a little too dangerous for me. The view from Sawtooth Pass was wonderful! You can see Mt Whitney and many more of the mountains in the eastern sierras far in the distance. The entire Mineral King area is one of my favorites in the sierras. It is mountain wildflower heaven in the summer. I highly recommend it!
