Itinerary description
Love this trail. Beautiful views and waterfall and good elevation changes. Path is well marked and you can extend the hike either East or West by jumping on the Ozark Trail. WE have done the loop a couple of times and have gone counter clockwise. The elevation change is steeper on the west side (begining going counterclockwise) and is a longer more gradual climb. 450 feet of elevation change from parking lot down to the falls. Trail starts pave then loose gravel before turning into a rockier trail.
Waterfalls are pretty when running. When we hiked last fall, there was no water running as it had been dry for a couple weeks. Trail is relatively dry with a handful of wet areas that were not overly muddy.
