Itinerary description
A walk with rewarding views but a good hike up hill after a short downhill starts the walk, for a distance of 471m. First 50mins are a slog but take your time, plenty of photo opportunities, take plenty of fluids and snacks.
Once you're at the peak (photo 9 Summit) then the rest is either flat or downhill.
Photo 4 is of the entrance to the Old Theltra village to the right at 4.39klms, well worth a walk round if you've never been, and still a few people living there, but you will have to walk back the same way to join the trail to the left with the green sign post.
I wouldn't recommend doing this in reverse as the hill at the start is quite steep in places with a lot of loose gravel.
Not one to do in summer, and not many shady places to escape the sun.
