Itinerary description
Starting from Milia's square hike along the banks of the river and through the forest to the Monastery of Panagia Giatrissa.
The path is easy in the beginning running through the beautiful river bank with a lot of wild vegetation. Then the hike becomes more steep and in places it's slightly difficult. Follow the red spots on the rocks and trees to stay in the path.
We did the path in early December and the place was full of mushrooms! The view from the Monastery is incredible and you can see both the Messinian and the Lakonian bays.
Around 9 km, doable in about 5 hours if you keep the pace.
