Itinerary description

This was an experimental hike trying some shortcuts to avoid the asphalt road btw. Milatos historical cave and Kastello Hill, got quite steep and spiky in the bushes at some points, not recommended. Climbing Kastello Hill from the west I find more difficult than from the east, as I tried earlier. Still getting up there is really worth the effort, amazing circle view and reminiscence of the ancient acropolis.
My favourite part of the trail is the eastern ascent from Kastello towards Tsampi, then turning towards the sea, descending again. When the scenic dirtroad ends at the olive field, a couple of hundred meters steep downhill to reach the coast must be accoplished, walking sticks recommended, not for sensitiv knees. Today I tried a more Eastern descent, after that I find the western and straigter one, which I did earlier, through something like a river bed, easier.
