Itinerary description
Acclimatization excursion to the Buddhist pilgrimage site called Milarepa´s Cave and, above, to the base of one of the walls of Annapurna III. It is an impressive place, with good views of the glaciers, avalanches crashing down the wall and with herds of blue sheeps in the pastures bordering the glacier.
To begin the ascent you must cross a bridge near the town of Bragha. The ascent becomes hard if it is not acclimatized, but it is worth climbing beyond the cave until near the base of the wall.
