Itinerary description
Slow pace due to excessive hot. This is the place where Buddism reached Sri Lanka thanks to it's king's illumination. Thus, the top of the hill is a sacred place so you'll have to cover knees and shoulders. Better carry socks, the soil burns!!! Some attemps to climb up the Et Vihara were frustrated by the presence of too many monkeys. You can get there easily from Anuradhapura by bus. The track starts and ends at bus stops.
