Itinerary description
A long loop around Mif'ar Pitam - the southern draining point of Makhtesh Ramon (crater). The trail starts at the geological path near road 40, crossing colorful rock formations, then taking a side trip up and down Ramon's tooth (a high black hill inside the crater), providing open views around the crater. From there climbing up the Pitam wall of the crater with views south to Mtn. Pitam and north to the other side of the crater. Walking the long way back along the Ramon creek dirt road, between the high walls of the crater.
