Itinerary description
**Adishi to Ushguli**
- This last part is normally done in two days (with an additional stop in the small village of Iprari that did not seem to have a lot going on) but we were on a roll and decided to continue all the way to Ushguli, hence the rating "Difficult" here. It's an easy hike but just very long.
- Pay attention to the track in Zugdidi (just past Iprari) where after crossing a short bridge, the track continues to the left, leaving the main road. The cafe owners tried to sell us a taxi ride by saying the track was closed. Climb over the fence and continue in the field, see photo.
- The last part from Zugdidi to Ushguli is mostly flat so relatively fast, but we caught rain showers, which made it a wet affair without rain pants, as it is mostly grass and plants.
- Just before Ushguli there is smaller village to the right of the main road which you could cross for a more pittoresque approach, but because of the rain we decided to stay on the main road.
- The next morning we took a taxi ride back to Mestia where on the main square from the bus station we caught shared transport to Tbilisi.
